Lethal Learning Environment Occurrence
The perpetrator stabbed Harvey, similarly 15, in the cardiac area with a hunting knife at the city's All Saints Catholic High School in February.
Mrs Justice Naomi Ellenbogen lifted the anonymity restriction on the perpetrator during the punishment phase at the judicial building.
Kin Response

The two adolescents had earlier disputed over online platforms in the days leading up to the fatal encounter.
The mother remarked she was pleased the minimum term had been set higher than the statutory minimum of 15-year period.
"My parent has been receiving medical treatment through the trial and he just couldn't persist any further," she expressed.
Background of the Attack
Before the murder on February 3rd, the defendant and the deceased had adopted different sides in a separate dispute between other schoolmates.
Surveillance video from the occasion of the knife attack displayed the killer moving toward the deceased in the outdoor area soon after noon.
Witnesses described a situation of "disorder", with those present "scattering, yelling all around" during the violent incident.
Legal Proceedings
In the legal proceedings, the defendant stated he had not planned to kill the deceased or cause him serious harm, claiming he could not remember what had happened.
The prosecution argued that he had "intended to show he was formidable" and "was aware exactly what he was carrying out".
"You were the aggressor and... you acted in hurt and fury at what you considered to be his treachery of your friendship," stated the court official during the punishment phase.
Consequences
All Saints Catholic High School released a announcement stating that the student was "dearly missed every day by the complete school community".
Police officials emphasized the catastrophic results of carrying weapons, noting that a "instantaneous action" can forever alter various existences.
This incident has sparked ongoing dialogues about adolescent conflict, weapon ownership, and school safety measures throughout the area.
