A prominent American athlete Katie Uhlaender accused the Canadian squad of withdrawing four of its six competitors from a recent event in New York. “Existing federation regulations allow member nations to withdraw athletes from an event at any time,” stated the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation (IBSF).
