Renowned scientist Jane Goodall Expressed Desire to Send Musk and Trump on Non-Return Trip to Space

After devoting her life observing chimpanzee actions, Jane Goodall became an authority on the combative nature of leading males. In a newly published interview recorded shortly before her passing, the celebrated primatologist shared her unusual solution for handling specific people she viewed as exhibiting similar qualities: transporting them on a one-way journey into the cosmos.

Posthumous Film Unveils Candid Thoughts

This remarkable perspective into Goodall's thinking emerges from the Netflix film "Famous Last Words", which was recorded in March and maintained confidential until after her recent passing at the age of 91.

"I know persons I'm not fond of, and I want to place them on a spacecraft and dispatch them to the world he's certain he's going to discover," stated Goodall during her discussion with her interlocutor.

Specific Individuals Targeted

When inquired whether Elon Musk, recognized for his questionable behavior and political alliances, would be included, Goodall responded affirmatively.

"Yes, definitely. He'd be the host. Envision whom I would include on that vessel. Together with Musk would be Donald Trump and some of Trump's loyal adherents," she stated.

"Furthermore I would add the Russian president among them, and I would place Xi Jinping. I would definitely include the Israeli leader on that journey and his far-right government. Send them all on that spaceship and dispatch them."

Earlier Comments

This was not the initial instance that Goodall, a champion of ecological preservation, had expressed criticism about the former president especially.

In a 2022 interview, she had observed that he exhibited "the same sort of actions as a dominant primate exhibits when he's competing for supremacy with an opponent. They posture, they swagger, they project themselves as significantly bigger and combative than they may actually be in order to frighten their rivals."

Alpha Behavior

During her last recorded conversation, Goodall further explained her comprehension of leadership types.

"We see, interestingly, two kinds of dominant individual. The first achieves dominance all by aggression, and due to their strength and they combat, they don't last very long. The second type succeeds by employing intelligence, like a younger individual will just confront a more dominant one if his ally, typically a relative, is with him. And research shows, they endure significantly longer," she clarified.

Social Interactions

The celebrated primatologist also examined the "politicization" of actions, and what her comprehensive research had taught her about aggressive behaviors exhibited by people and primates when faced with something they perceived as threatening, despite the fact that no threat actually existed.

"Primates see a stranger from a nearby tribe, and they grow highly agitated, and the hair stands out, and they stretch and touch another, and they display visages of rage and terror, and it spreads, and the rest catch that feeling that a single individual has had, and everyone turns combative," she explained.

"It's contagious," she noted. "Various exhibitions that turn aggressive, it sweeps through them. They all want to participate and engage and turn violent. They're defending their territory or battling for control."

Comparable Human Reactions

When asked if she thought comparable dynamics applied to humans, Goodall responded: "Probably, in certain situations. But I firmly think that the bulk of humanity are good."

"My main objective is nurturing the upcoming generation of compassionate citizens, roots and shoots. But are we allowing enough time? I'm uncertain. It's a really grim time."

Historical Comparison

Goodall, born in London prior to the commencement of the the global conflict, compared the struggle against the challenges of present day politics to the UK resisting the Third Reich, and the "determined resistance" displayed by Winston Churchill.

"That doesn't mean you don't have periods of sadness, but then you come out and state, 'OK, I'm not going to allow their success'," she commented.

"It's like Churchill throughout the battle, his iconic words, we'll fight them at the coastlines, we'll fight them along the roads and urban areas, then he turned aside to a friend and reportedly stated, 'and we'll fight them at the ends of shattered glass as that's the only thing we actually possess'."

Closing Thoughts

In her final address, Goodall provided words of encouragement for those resisting governmental suppression and the climate emergency.

"In current times, when the planet is challenging, there still is possibility. Preserve faith. Should optimism fade, you turn into indifferent and remain inactive," she counseled.

"And if you wish to save the remaining beauty in this world – if you want to preserve Earth for coming generations, your grandchildren, their offspring – then consider the choices you implement daily. Because, expanded numerous, innumerable instances, modest choices will generate significant transformation."
