British Airways stated that the complimentary, “reliable and lightning-fast” wifi provision via the satellite provider becomes accessible to passengers in economy, premium economy, or premium cabins starting next month.
Broad Implementation Throughout Multiple Carriers
The parent firm of BA, IAG, stated it had finalized an deal involving the satellite firm to offer connectivity coverage for over 500 aircraft across their airlines, such as Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, plus Vueling.

BA explained that this rollout for the system was part of a multi-billion pound “upgrade” plan and would deliver uninterrupted internet access to passengers starting at boarding through arrival, also when traveling above large bodies of water and isolated areas.
